If you create an assessment with automatically scored items only you can now select to auto-publish the results directly. What does this mean? If you select 'do not assign assessors' no marking coordination nor assessors will be needed. Results are directly published and accessible under Reports.
Marking workflow: all types of assessment will use the same workflow
Reports: results listed by candidate submission Cirrus offers several reports, a section in the application we are working hard to improve. You are now able to view all results listed by candidate submission as soon as published. Alternatively you can use the report per schedule, which becomes available when the schedule is finished.
Whether viewing the report per schedule or per candidate in Reports, you can simply click on any of the candidates that participated. This will lead to reports showing:
Summary = questions + what the candidate scored on that question
Detailed = questions + correct answers + what answers the candidate selected
Mastery Level or Score Report shows mastery level per Learning Objective.
Timed Sections Timed sections allow assessment authors to create sections consisting of a stimulus pane on the left and a subset of related questions on the right that need to be answered within a given time frame by the candidate, for example 30 minutes. The timer for this starts as soon as the candidate opens one of the questions in the section. Read more about using Timed Sections.
Improvements and bug fixes
As always we keep on making improvements and fixing bugs. The list of improvements and fixes is too long for this email. We’ve introduced a slider to free up space on certain pages and removed smaller modal windows (pop-ups) for better user experience, improved the search when scheduling and, improved the marking screen for essay questions and much, much more. Feel free to check out last months' releases for a complete listing.
