Product Update | 2016-05-24 | Cirrus Assessment
With great pleasure we’re announcing our latest product update. Changes include:
When you create assessments in Cirrus, the first screen will ask you to choose the type of assessment you want to create:
After this initial choice you can create the assessment as normal with the exception that you now only see the items tagged for the purpose of your assessment.
If, for example, the author selects Summative, then goes to question selection (manual or blueprint), only questions tagged as summative will be displayed (manual) or made available (blueprint).
You can find information on Formative / Summative / Mixed assessment types in our online knowledge base. Please note that all existing assessments have been migrated to the “Mixed type”.
This is just the first exciting improvement as outlined in our CEO's Roadmap update, sent out last month. We always strive to improve to better serve your needs!
- Pause / Start action in the Invigilator screen has been removed due to issues with some candidates responding in time.
- We've improved the performance of the Invigilator overview screen and the candidate logs.
